Whether you’ve read the bestseller or not, it doesn’t matter as Gone Girl is set to be THE biggest film of the autumn.
Opening in cinemas on October 3, the film stars Ben Affleck as the man accused of murdering his wife after she goes missing on their fifth anniversary. British actress Rosamund Pike plays his unhappily married spouse Amy in the big screen drama adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s psychological thriller which has sold more than six million copies.
Flynn has penned the screenplay which has a partially different ending from the 2012 book but critics have been wowed by the film.
Neil Patrick Harris and Tyler Perry also star in the movie whcih is directed by David Fincher, who also directed Fight Club, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and Se7en.
