Is it really ever too early to start thinking about Christmas? Well, either way, John Lewis is way ahead of us, as the brand announced its top 10 toys for this year's festive gifting season. While nostalgic classics - some with a twist - are on the list for 2025, there are some exciting new additions too, which the retailer predicts kids will be clamouring for.
'This year the list encompasses a mix of traditional and modern toys,' said John Lewis in a release. 'The magic of traditional toys is the nostalgic feeling they evoke, which brings joy to parents and older children while introducing the younger generations to cult family classics.'
With Sylvanian Families celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, you'll likely be familiar with the figures from your own childhood or that of your children's. And, if you're a fan of the kitchen staple - an air fryer - you may be tickled to see that there's now a wooden toy version for kids, blending traditional toys with modern gadgets.
