Bake Off's Sandro announces brand new role on Lorraine

The Great British Bake Off runner-up Sandro Farmhouse has lined up a new gig with Lorraine.

The amateur baker, who was a nanny at the time he joined the Bake Off tent, will be joining Lorraine Kelly for a weekly segment on her ITV daytime show beginning next month.

In 'Feel Good Baking with Sandro', the baker will show viewers how baking can become a moment for mindfulness — and, of course, he'll be sharing some of his favourite recipes!

"Lorraine was such a big supporter when I was on The Great British Bake Off and she has championed me ever since," Sandro said today. "I am really excited to be back, sharing some of my favourite, quick and easy recipes for you all to make at home. I can't wait!"

The 'Feel Good Baking with Sandro' segments will begin airing on Wednesday, February 1 and continue throughout the month with four episodes.

"Sandro’s feel-good energy and eye-catching bakes will definitely give our viewers something to look forward to each week on Lorraine this February," Lorraine editor Victoria Kennedy announced.

"Sandro is an amazing addition to the show and I hope that his new series will not only inspire viewers to get baking, but also feel good whilst doing so.”

Sandro had an impressive finish as runner-up in the Bake Off tent last summer, coming just short of defeating the eventual winner Syabira Yusoff.
