Change up the veggie side for tomorrow's dinner with this cooked cabbage dish. Green onions and fresh tarragon add a burst of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 head savoy cabbage
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 green onions
  • 1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh tarragon leaves
  • tsp. pepper

Directions

    1. Step 1Heat butter and oil on medium in 5-quart saucepot. Add onion; cook 3 minutes, stirring.
    2. Step 2Stir in savoy cabbage, water, and salt. Reduce heat to medium-low.
    3. Step 3Cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes or until cabbage is very tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir in green onions, fresh tarragon leaves, and pepper.
